A detailed version of the left diptych image. Originally based on the idea of Terror and Joy, I took some liberties with the theme to create a surreal and slightly autobiographical image.
The left image is an expression of terror or fear and the possibility to grow from that as it merges with the right diptych image.
But don't take my word for it, i may have said to much.

Made in Photoshop CS the original print version is 12"x15" for a combined print size of 12"x15"

Quote in image:

Thank you to the resurgere team for providing three of the integrated textures and smoke:

Daily DeviationOne cannot help but to be capticated by this image. May Fear be a gateway to ~ratpat13's gallery of surreal delight. (Suggested by =fleur-de-soleil and Featured by `WilderWein77)

Well I’m happy you’re enjoying them. The overall style came more from a bunch of happy accidents rather then original intent, but I was happy with the outcome. The one I am working on now is shaping up to have a somewhat similar style (need more color), but I am always looking to try something different each time.
Very impressive this image, I like much. You would have to erase the letters that happen over the fingers and the hand. (sorry, my english is poor)
Brilliant. I personally prefer would this over Hope.
How much work went into this by way of hours?

Did you know that:
E^2 = (p^2c^2)+([<delta>m^2]c^4).
which implies that:
E= [mc^2]/[<sq. root> 1-(v^2/c^2)].
when p=0 (in eq 1, or in 2 rearranged [which gives 1])
E=mc^2....
(In reality, p can never=0, so E should, realistically not be =mc^2, )
awesome :D
